Panda hasn't used that mold then in years, all the years we have been retailing they haven't had one in production

No, the MD-11 is only about one year old, at least release wise. But in that time, there have only been a handful of releases:
American
Delta
China Cargo
China Eastern (Through Undefined Collectibles)
Garuda Indonesia (Exclusive through Airshop Diecast)
Not many releases to date whatsoever. It is a shame because it is an excellent mould.

We have never seen it offered to us and we are an authorized Panda dealer. I just went back on our order sheets and if they were they left them off of our order forms. I just emailed her(Sickey) to see what the deal is with their MD-11's as again we have never had them on an order sheet.

It must have been left off for some reason? There should have been no reason you were not able to get it when you normally stock others. I have bought many regular Panda 767s from your site, so this must have been a one off or something

I know right, I just emailed her as we typically will at least order 1 of every release, which is always small. What I like about them is that they have some of the best molds out there, but they have very few releases. Their 737 and 767's are hard to beat.

Yeah, that Panda MD-11 AA bare metal sold like hot cakes last year... I had mine pre-ordered almost 3 months in advance and it's a beautiful model.

No - they just said 'We are currently preparing for the production of MD11 in December. You can recommend the MD11 you are interested in to me. Of course, we accept customized products from customers.'

I know this is not the right thread, nonetheless dumping my md-11 list here - I'd sent it to MHH when they were asked by the Panda Boss for future release suggestions in December 2024 - this is after the AA & DL and after the Garuda OEM - on the pretext that they're ramping up production - deja vu LOL

Ever since Panda came up with their MD-11, I have considered doing a Viasa fantasy. Supposedly, there were "serious" plans to replace the DC-10s with MD-11s before the airline entered its final phase.
Not sure about its demand, though.

The VIASA MD-11 would have been spectacular!
I still need to add their DC-10 to my collection though

Perhaps V1:400 can use the HX 747 moulds to make some classics soon??
