Quick bit of fun. There's obviously been some chat about the Kylin A330 recently so I thought I'd whip up a quick photo comparison of it with 2 other 400 scale A330s. But which ones and which one's which? It just so happens I own an Air China example of each, which makes it harder to identify based on the release.

I have removed the aerials to make it slightly harder too. Equally interesting is the fact that the belly colour and cheatline colour of all 3 are different despite Air China being one of the most reproduced schemes in 400 scale history! There's some questionable placement of the cheatline at the nosecone on all 3 too.

So can you identify them? I'm not expecting this to be especially hard I admit.

Top: Kylin (cockpit window print is off).
Middle: NG or Panda (windshield window scale is too small).
Bottom: AeroClassics (again too small windshield window, but AeroClassics print the outline).

Funny that all of them are off with the vertical positioning and/or scale of the windshield windows. The last one even has an oversized side/sliding window.

I would like to provide a brand-new perspective to identify them, it is the nose landing gear.

NG's torque links are exaggeratedly oversized, while the ones from AC/Panda mold are too small and next to the main fitting.
Luckily Kylin doesn't share that problem, but their nws actuators are too long. You can easily find the differences by comparing their molds with a real aircraft.

Legend below is taken from Airbus Maintenance Manual and I have circled the key points.

The NG has the closest-to-real replication of the entire front section - forehead/cockpit/nose/chin
Instinctively reminds me of the real thing.
This wasn't NG's best A330 release as you rightly mention, but there's no denying the mould form's close-to-accurate-ness
