Show Your Latest 1:400 Purchase

Managed to pickup these models at the LHR fair very happy with the Delta 732 "Widget" and the Air Canada 345 "Toothpaste"

Maybe the only similarity between them is that they're dirt cheap :LOL:

Not something too spectacular - but still decent additions to my lineup:)
 
My latest 1:400 purchase was from DG Pilot's table at the Chicago fall airliners collectables
show. I chose the NG Models ITA A330-200 (Alitalia old livery) and the Qatar 777-300ER.

The Alitalia is an outstanding model and the mold even puts Gemini's good A330 mold from 2015 (on the left in the fourth picture) to shame. The only thing I hope NG adds to this mold is tilting landing gear.

The Qatar is a great model and it completes my collection of all the international airlines that fly to Atlanta (last picture). I also like NG's new 777 mold and I can do a more in-depth mold comparison later (pictured with the JC/Gemini mold in the sixth and seventh picture). Unfortunately, the Qatar came with a detached pair of wheels on the main landing gear. I am a big fan of the JC Wings 773 mold and love that Korean version, I must get it soon! As for the wheels on your NG I’ve lost wheels for three models in a row due to horrible manufacturing. It’s become very frustrating as I’ve never lost Jc or Gemini wheels. Great purchase overall!

Very nice! They are all lovely models, especially the Qatar 777, I have it too. :)

GJ's KAL 77W is great, save for the cockpit windows; they're too long horizontally and thus look more like 737 windows. On the other hand the APU is moulded in, whereas on the NG version it's only printed on.20221003_010542.jpg20221003_010212.jpg
 
My latest acquisition has arrived: YuModels YU0008 Ilyushin OKB IL76 Prototype (using AC mould). I currently have some very interesting models on the way, two of which are CX B747 Bigbird which I will dedicate a thread for each to discuss!
