Maybe one day… I think my local retailer still has a couple, might pick one up next week.It is! It took a while to arrive but it's finally here!
I just saw that it is sold out already. They might re-release it eventually.
Absolutely stunning! You cannot beat the KLM blue top livery on those T-tails. Great snag! Here’s another recent find, for just under £40. Aeroclassics KLM DC-9-32 PH-DNW, delivered 1969, in 1970s blue-top c/s. Released in 2007. A very elusive model!
I already have the earlier 2004 SMA release (PH-DOA), picked up at the Gatwick fair some years ago for a bargain at £18, but the shade of blue on this is the darker 1980s-1990s style, the AC version has that very distinctive shade of pale blue which KLM used early on.
The AC version is also on the improved mould with tweaks to the nose and tail fin, and has the registration printed on the wing as well.
Cheers mate!! No, you really can’t. One of the precious few colourful airline schemes left today, along with the old-school Korean Air!Absolutely stunning! You cannot beat the KLM blue top livery on those T-tails. Great snag!
Nice! Excited for the future of that A330...Latest arrivals. The A330 destined for a repaint.
I don't know if it is just the angle, but the cockpit windows on this one look a bit off. Is it like that in person? Cool model nonetheless.British Airways B787-8 G-ZBJG Gemini Jets
