As a point of interest, what is your criteria if you don't mind sharing?

I just buy what I like, sometimes relevance to me personally, sometimes I just think it looks great. While I have no real affinity for for Delta, albeit having flown them quite a bit, I find I have a largish selection of Delta already given I think they do some fabulous special liveries an interesting planes.

I understand once you get into the hundreds of models you do probably need to be a bit more selective than "it just looks nice".

Before the rise of FedEx and UPS the US cargo scene was dominated by Flying Tigers, one of only a few CAB certified scheduled cargo airlines. By the mid-80s they were flying to 6 continents and 58 countries, but alas they were sold to FedEx by Stephen Wolf in 1988 (Wolf has a history of selling off airlines he's CEO of). Just picked up this pair of Aeroclassics 747s with the two tail variants worn during the 80s.

Would love to see some interactive Tigers 747s made but it seems HX don't really care about or understand avhistory.

That's a little harsh. They've been a bit slow, sure, but the Pan Ams and the soon-to-be-released TWA models are something to praise...
I just hope they stray away from the Asian releases for a moment. I've got good hopes
To be honest so far they've released 2 Pan Am 747s (ignoring duplicates) and otherwise almost nothing else on the 747-100/200 in a year. Their 400 releases aren't much better. We have seen some in production shots of models but none with release dates and for many of them we don't know whether they are exclusives to be sold at individual retailers (like the BAs and Swissair and so hard to get) or more general releases.

Almost their entire release sets to date have been modern Asian stuff (with some rather banal European LH and KLM too) of relatively low value from a diversity point of view. At this point my hopes are increasingly limited and HX are doing no better than NG with their approved wishlist models that they get short shrift for. They are promising a lot but not necessarily delivering it.

I hope they prove me wrong.

It’s been a while since I’ve last posted in here, but that hasn’t stopped me from collecting! Here are a few of the recent purchases I made over the past couple of months!
