Possibly one of the holy grails of the Aeroclassics DC-9 models, is this Scandinavian masterpiece..

SAS (1983 colors)- Douglas DC-9-41- SE-DAR 'Agnar Viking'.

I got a a trade for this model, so I was very appreciative of receiving it.

Also, another gem I picked up on ebay was this relatively rare model released by AC.

Iran Air (90s colors)- Boeing 727-286/Adv- EP-IRT.

I got this for £41, so it was practically a steal and the seller was quite friendly.

Herpa airBaltic A220-300 YL-ABX "Baltic heritage livery". No bad for a Herpa model, even the livery (extremely difficult to realize for everyone, NG Model included!) seems enough similar to the real airplane.

No no right, It was just to point up that such liveries are difficult to realize even for the best brands/manufacturers and Herpa did a good job. 1:400 scale Is bigger than 1:500 and more suitable for obtaining better results on special liveries.

Got Patriot 747-100 SCA using the HX mould. The price of this model is nearly twice that of a regular HX 747, but the packaging feels more premium, and it also comes with a card, a postcard, and a letter inside.

I think the tiny stand used for the YY Wings An-225 with Buran is easier to install. However, Patriot included two sets of stands in case one gets lost. Does anyone know if the two stands have any different purposes?

This aircraft naturally has to be displayed together with the An-225. They represent the first space shuttles of the US and the Soviet, even though they were introduced at different times.

A rather random eBay acquisition last week was this S7 A321 made by Panda Models in 2018. I've dialled back acquisitions of Russian airliners for obvious reasons but still pickup those from before the current Ukraine conflict. S7 acquired this 2015 build aircraft in April 2017 after the failure of its previous operator TransAsia Airways. This aircraft operated its last revenue flight in April 2021 and after storage is now XA-VCC with Viva Aerobus in Mexico.
