Is there any paint damage? If not I would suggest putting some superglue on it and calling it a day. If there is paint damage, then I'd agree with you about returning it

There is a little chipping but I have the chance to go back up and return it, but this is a spectacular model so I really want it to be spot on with QC.

Gemini used Phoenix’s mold for a short time. Unsure specifically about this one but I have a gemini BA 788 on phoenix’s mold.

It's a Phoenix model. The only model in 1/400 of G-ZBLK available so far is by Phoenix. Plus, I own that model as well.
