My second purchase of the year is B-6101, and I call it by its registration number because it is the aircraft that welcomed us on our return journey to China. It was the first time I had taken such a long trip, and it was somewhat of a honeymoon with my wife after our wedding during the COVID period.
We absolutely loved China; we took a tour that made us fall even more in love with the Land of the Dragon.
A small note about B-6101: while helping cover my wife so she could sleep better, I lost a wireless earbud somewhere on the aircraft. After calling the flight attendants, they helped us search for it, and once they found it, they actually removed my seat to be able to retrieve it.
I truly never would have expected something like that—I was very pleasantly surprised!
Personally, I was a bit worried about Air China because it had mediocre reviews, but the crew, the flight itself, and even the food more than satisfied us!
Sorry for going on for so long, but I had to explain why this model is so important to me!
(It has now been placed in our memory box along with the tickets and souvenirs from the flight.)
The model itself only confirms the quality of NG Model.
The mold has been revised and no longer has the hole underneath for the stand, which I actually prefer.
I also owned Air China B-5946, and the padding is now entirely plastic—it fits the model better, and honestly, I much prefer it this way.

Engines look a bit oversized but I don’t know. The 319neo for the collection from the same batch

This doesn’t fit within the 1:400 criteria but I thought it’d be interesting to share nonetheless.
NG even includes a points card inside the packaging, just like any other model they make.

As seen here, it’s got both gears up and gears down modes, and you can swap them out quite easily with the provided push-pin.
The build is solid, and the fuselage is made out of the same metal they use on their regular diecast models. It’s got some weight to it, relative to its proportions.Someone got it! What does you think of it? how is the quality? Worth it if they made more of them?
They are a bit silly looking but if they made a US airline I enjoy it might be fun to pick one up for the shelves if the quality is there
Air Arabia A320ceo A6-AOA by Gemini.
This low cost based in UAE Is underestimated but flies in many European and Middle East airports with a fleet of 56 among A320ceo, A321ceo and A321neo.
I hope someone will develop the 1:400 fleet.
