My first arrival of 2026:
Aeroclassics - Airbus A300B4-2C - Varig - PP-VNE
(BTW, the variants of the A300 are somewhat confusing to me. I thought the A300B4 had only 100/200 variants, but then this 2C shows up...)
It's a decent model, despite being an old mould from AC. Fortunately, no issues with the livery except the blue, which is a bit too dark but nothing serious. The quality control is what you'd expect from AC: the right stab was loose and quickly fell off. A tiny drop of glue and the problem was quickly solved. The engines and pylons also don't seem to fit too sturdily, they wobble quite easily and I'm afraid they might fall off if enough force is applied. The wings were also slightly bent, although not too much.
Got this one to replace my custom version, which is based on a Dragon Wings donor (Carnival).
The custom work is actually good but there are some flaws aswell: the belly should be in matte grey instead of metallic. The decals are clearly brighter than the AC livery aswell!
And also, it seems to me that DW used an A300-600 mould instead of A300B4. The underside of the tail area is quite different and maybe there's a slight difference in length...

I know that I’m not posting so much in this topic… I would like to change in 2026
Photo sent by my wife who opened the package. Fortunately, the box is in excellent condition. I couldn't find it in Europe, so I had it shipped from the other side of the world.
I wanted the 741 N747PA, but it's sold out everywhere, so... I 'settled' for the N733PA, the first 747 delivered to Pan-Am!
What can I say? I hope to enjoy it when I get back. I can't wait! it must be a wonderful model...
I'm honoured to have it in my collection!
...and what about the artwork? AMAZING!

I must say that is stunning model, really I have few model (50+\-) but this is so amazing!This is an amazing model. Hope you enjoy it!
I like the stand and the card, is the first that I have like this…. Now…. I’m waiting the next one… I have another story
