The main store in Chicago is Grayland Station, but a collector also set one up in Worth (Flyman Models). He has been quiet for a while.
Yes I have been to Grayland station twice! It’s by far my favorite brick in mortar shop that I have been too!
They have for quite awhile as the last time I was there was 4 years ago and they had tons of NG.It’s not bad. Do they sell NG now?

A dream coming true.
Monarch has been a leading airline in leisure market since some years ago, when It failed.
For me Monarch has been and continues to be and iconic airline and the A300 was a workhorse for long haul activity and/or medium-short haul high density routes.
Here a Phoenix A300-600 new livery (G-MAJS) and Aeroclassics A300-600 old livery (G-MONS). I must say to prefer the old livery.

Last Saturday was the annual Frankfurt Aviation Collectibles Show located in Stadthalle Hofhiem. Here are the models that I picked up that day.
Firstly, at a stall where I got my Swiss BAe last year - I got this year also another Swiss. But these Swiss promotional model usually goes off the radar and I have not seen this one specifically on the database. Here's Swiss Bombardier CS100 by Herpa (probably - since the box does not indicate who is behind).

At that same stall was this beauty quadjet - it came with a loose port horizontal stab and peeled off the paint as well as a missing antenna. Here is South African Airways B747SP-44 ZS-SPD by NG.

Continuing the theme of quads - from a good friend of mine whom I met the last 2 shows I attended - Royal Australian Air Force Boeing C-17A Globemaster A41-206 by GJ.

A little bright yellow baguette-shaped engine - the experimental scheme (my friend told me this was Condor) worn by Lufthansa B737-230 D-ABFW Wolfsburg by SMA.

This was the pre-jet-era presidental aircraft - the U.S Air Force Douglas VC-118 Liftmaster 46-505 "The Independence" by AC (early release). AC also reproduced this model on the updated mould (as far as I can tell). Got to meet the man himself at the show.

In early days AC produced sets of two models from the same airlines - this practice has stopped years ago. This British Eagle pair is no exception - featuring the jet-powered B707-138B G-AVZZ and the British turboprop Britannia 175 G-ANCF "New Frontiers". The Britannia, however, suffered from a missing nose landing gear.

And finally, a pair of DC-8s in the House Color by Aeroclassics would conclude today's post.

I'm curious whether shipping would be cheaper for you if you use the Chinese version of Taobao. For me it is.My latest engtaobao box has arrived with 8 new models purchased from various taobao stores - 2 Aero Polaris, 3 C Models, 1 JC Wings and 2 YY Wings. Postage wasn't cheap on this lot I can tell you but it isn't easy to get some of these models in the West. Hopefully some of these will feature on my channels:
It might be but I doubt it as I wouldn't be able to aggregate parcels together. I can't speak Chinese anyway so using taobao proper is a pain. Engtaobao isn't the English version of taobao it is a separate aggregator company that enables me to order using taobao links and combine shipments when they arrive at it.I'm curious whether shipping would be cheaper for you if you use the Chinese version of Taobao. For me it is.
Yes it is, Leo. This round was filled with classic a bit "incidentally." But I am have in my collection these beauties. It was interesting to hear your story with the model!Nice birds, lots of classics! I once almost ended up buying that Lufthansa 737-200 in experimental colors, but it would become a custom donor. The deal feel through and didn't happen. Funny how even the nose gear leg is painted in yellow![]()

That would be a nice idea. However I have not taken any photos during my time there. Hopefully to see your pics featuring the show.Beautiful models, nice catch!
I was there, too. Maybe we should create a "Meeting at the Show"-thread.
I still need to take photos of the models I found at Hofheim.
Cheers

Aeroclassics A330 mold is their best mold... Prove me wrong.Another new one from @FinalApproachCollectibles, an Aeroclassics US Airways A330-300 N275AY, a 2023 release!
