I'm loving the Phoenix Il-62s and don't feel they're getting enough credit. Excellent mould and finish. This is an Il-62 'Basic' - B-2024. This aircraft is preserved at the China Aviation Museum in Datangshan, Beijing. CAAC took delivery of 5 Il-62s with the first arriving in December 1971. They were used on the Beijing-Moscow and Beijing-Bucharest via Karachi services, but following the 1972 visit of Nixon CAAC ordered 10 Boeing 707s and so none of the upgraded Il-62M variant were ever ordered. Even so, the 5 IL-62s served into the 1980s and weren't retired until October 1988. This model was purchased from my friends at Bedfordshire Diecast.

I bought the Aeroflot from last month after reading your review and I love it! I’ll have to snap some pics and put them on here. Great looking model and excited for more of them

PHX IL-62 is wonderful indeed! Hope I can add one to my collection. I'd love to see them releasing a TAAG, for example. Stunning livery!

Sun Country is another one of those airlines that doesn't get much love in 400 scale, but when they do get made people buy them in droves. NG released the new Minnesota Golden Gophers livery a couple months back and I finally had time to acquire this. As expected, it's beautiful.

Lovely NG release. I'm glad I have a Sun Country model in my collection too, but it's an old DC-10 release by Gemini :)

Recent batch for my personal shelves.

Three of these came from a recent collection I acquired:

Swissair 747-300 by AV400. Came with no box so naturally the HF antennas snapped off. I reglued them, but still need to paint the joints.

British Airways 747-100 also by AV400 (InFlight400). This one is mint. What a nice treat, it was a last minute swap, so I didn’t know I was getting it. I got the 747-200 that was released alongside way back when, so it is nice to have them both now.

Lan Chile 707-300. This is the reason I got the collection in the first place. This is one of my favorite liveries, and the one that I have struggled the most to get. Well, I needed to buy a collection just to get the model (that’s a first for me), so that tells you how damn hard to get these Lan Chile models are.

Then we have the ARD exclusive Landor Concorde. I have the GJ and Herpa version, I just need to find a way to squeeze this one in my BA shelves.

Such a sought after livery… If any one can help me find the DC-10 or 747 please let me know, but don’t come asking $100+ for them…

And a bonus: The recent Aeroclassics Ecuatoriana A310.

I want to pick this up soon! I just took delivery of the same registration in the 2001 colors which was a 2012 Gemini release I believe.
Also spotted it at CMH! (ignore the poor horizon in the shot lol)
