Another African addition to the collection and much cheaper than the Zaire DC-10 is this SAA 707-344C ZS-SAG acquired from @Beans__ . ZS-SAG arrived new in April 1969 and served throughout the 1970s. Leased to Air Zimbabwe in 1980/81 it was sold to IAI of Israel in October 1982 and joined the Israeli Air Force. Retirement came in 2008 when it was registered 4X-BYQ as an EC-707.

Awesome models! I’m not much of a fantasy collector but the Concorde gets an exception for obvious reasons. That Pan Am one is super sharp

Recently picked up 2 beautiful USAir 757’s courtesy of Squatchys. Both are on the fantastic NG mould but one of them is an Aeroclassics model which allows for an interesting comparison with the mould variable removed. My pics aren’t the highest quality but it should be clear how much better NG’s printing and detail is. For example, look at the detail printing on the doors and the more refined undercarriage detailing, main gear door area, and underside of the engines on the NG. Even still, both models are excellent and the Aeroclassics can more than hold its own (with the benefit of NG’s mould) - enjoy!

Both are on the fantastic NG mould but one of them is an Aeroclassics model which allows for an interesting comparison with the mould variable removed. Cockpit window detail is much better on the NG, for example.
Some Aeroclassics 757s also have quite small cockpit windows. ATA 757 in the old livery suffers form this

That’s a good point. I remember the Aeroperu 757 had the same problem - it bothered me so much that I sold it!

According to Richard, there were 20 releases between 2018 and 2021, all using the NG mould.
I don't mind the lack of aerials, my only true complain is the small cockpit windows AC used for these

This is N273AY, an A330-300 in the white US Airways scheme. It’s by Gemini in a 2007 release so no antennas or rolling gear on this one. I already have the Dragon version of this plane but wanted the full metal version and this came at a steal of 30usd including shipping. I’ll eventually do comparisons between both manufacturers and posting about every Legacy US A330 in their own dedicated thread sometime once I have them all. Only five regs left to go I think!

The "new" Mexicana has a fleet of three B737-800WL and two E195-E2.
Gemini produced the airplane with the old type winglets.

This one is a bit of an unusual add to the collection but a very interesting one and of interest to me given that I work in the space industry - the Dragon 1:400 Space Shuttle Atlantis with the full SRB and external tank stack. Interestingly, this model is made specifically to represent the STS-132 mission which the box labels as Atlantis’s final flight. Real space nerds will know, however, that one final flight was added to the manifest which Atlantis flew as STS-135. So it’s neat to me that this model was clearly made before that mission was approved. This model means even more to me as I drive by the building it’s on display in almost everyday!

Very cool duo! I have thought about acquiring some AC 757's but was super hesitant for the obvious concerns others have mentioned. Funny that Aeroclassics used this mold but have nothing good to say about NG.

A beautiful new arrival today! @ghqv2988 showed me a listing on JetCollector for this Aeroclassics US Airways A320 for only 45$ brand new. A great deal knowing these go on ebay for $100 each easily. Just the 319/321 left to find! I’d expect some good photos of this guy very soon!
