So this was a lucky find. After seeing purpleplane’s sparkling AA 727 I thought I’d check out Threshold Aviation, as now and again some old stock comes up for sale. The minute I go on there I find this Aeroclassics AA 707, the pax version N8436, released in 2008. Snapped it up for just under £37, even with postage to UK, it still works out at a decent price. A solid retailer with none of the inflated price BS or ebay to contend with…ordered on 26th October, landed here yesterday, how’s that for service. Absolutely love these classic Astrojets!

This plane just flew out of Yuma last Monday, I got to watch it fly over.

Just received my American 763, in amazing condition including the packaging. Waffle really wasn't kidding when he said "new"old stock! Aside from some outdated mould features, it is phenomenal. In the recent years I stood back and watched as Gemini fell flat on their face, but this really takes me back to their glory days I was only able to look through videos until now.

Overall exceptional effort from Gemini, and I'm starting to get attracted to these old releases now. Might have to snag a few more GJ AA chromes from the remaining new old stock from Waffle. Fingers crossed I'll come across an MD80.

Great purchase! I really appreciate Waffles collection sales as I myself has jumped back into buying classics. Sadly I sold over a hundred of them in the past to make money for new models but since regret . Now I’m starting over again on my favorite aviation period 2000-2010.

Good luck and patience on that MD-80 as they can be found at retail up to $125.00! I just won an auction for a AA MD-80 on eBay last night for a descent price of $63.00 so the good deals are out there! Happy Collecting!

It would for sure be quite expensive. Nice to see that you got one though! I usually focus on modern aircraft but I'm occasionally deviating towards AA chromes nowadays. Happy collecting to you too!

Here is my latest arrival. Fantasy Wings HK control tower with Outer bay. Lol I bought these back in August barely got them now! They got stuck at US customs border in NJ for months. Am glad I got it.

Anyways @YesterAirlines has a review of these sets on his YouTube channel. Excellent set.

Your setup looks great. I really like this set but do admit I find the gate layout rather limiting.

Definitely - I'm sure you will. I keep them bookmarked on my phone and every now and again, check them out. There's always something added to the inventory, in addition to the current releases.
