This guy arrived today. All things considered…it was “cheap”…lol.

This puts me at 2 out of the 4 possible total navy schemed A330s for my collection. the other two are I believe aeroclassics which…quite pricey now. One day.

Interesting to see that here the GJ/JC A330 had better landing gear heights with a nose down pitch

Indeed, i’m kind of impressed with it. It’s about where the praises for this mould end however… the gear themselves look atrocious (in modern standards of course) and the nose gear is bend forwards like a 320 nose gear should. I think A330s irl are fairly straight up a down. As well as the other defects on an early 2000s GJ A330 mould that are known, loved, and hated. Lovely model to have in my collection though don’t get me wrong lol

Another recent 727 addition to the fleet is N375PA 'Clipper Flying Cloud' in an all white version of the Billboard scheme. This aircraft was one of 3 ex-PSA 727-214Advs that Pan Am took on in late 1984. It goes rather nicely with N368PA that I already owned and operated the final Pan Am service.

You could say Gemini did a lot of things better with their older molds then they do now with their newer molds.

Cute mould, but those maingears are the same size as the nosewheel. Hope they address that in future renderings because their subjects are excellent.

I like the details placed on those Dashs butthe mould doesn't convince me yet. There's still a bunch of details that must be corrected. And I know they can, just haven't yet. The tail is what strikes me the most. It looks like a DHC-5 Buffalo. Hopefully they fix that and a few more details in the next batches.
