…and very elegant they looked, too! Air France also did this on their delivery c/s A300s, wings & stabs all painted white. It looks lovely on the model I have. This feature adds something special for sure!

They sure did! I usually dislike white wings, but there was just something about the Southern Cross livery that worked really well.

I really like that scheme - the tail design is stunning, the particular graphic style capturing the Southern Cross in those streaming colours. There's few Euro White schemes I actually like, but this and the Air France liveries are lovely. In fact, Ansett was an early adopter of this minimist style after AF, in 1980 - a radical departure from the black/red cheatline livery which had gone before. I have the B.727-200/737-200 & B.767-200 in my collection

The HiFly Coral Reef livery A380 by JC Wings. I've been wanting one of these ever since it called into my local airport (GLA) during the Thomas Cook rescue flights missions, after they went bust. Still the only non Emirates A380 to operate to Glasgow Airport, and now sadly a victim of the pandemic shut down.
