There are still some around but I‘m not sure if the model is still produced by GJ, so I decided to better grab one before they become rare and overly expensive.

My first ever model!
Kudos to Oscar (@Qantas992) for helping me find this one. I love the Electra and fun fact: my Grandfather flew Electras for TAA before eventually moving on to Ansett as a 727, 737 and 767 pilot!

Ng Models Southwest Desert Gold Max has arrived!! I really like this model and I think it’s great beside the livery being too rich and lacking a metallic shine!! What are your thoughts on this model?

Mold looks great but it a hard pass for me. They should have attempted the metallic finish, this really disappointed me with NG especially after the horrible Virgin Atlantic A35K colors. I’m really hoping Gemini adds the finish to its release. Still find it hard to understand why they can make a superior color match when it comes to the Virgin Atlantic models but not the Southwest classic. Hopefully the Herb Keller is more promising. Some are bothered by the mold I’m a colors guy. This livery did not get its justice.

This one arrived today and it almost turned out to be a never ending story: originally a Christmas present from my dad, unfortunately it arrived with a loose wing and scratched fuselage under the Christmas tree. As it was the last model in the shop where we ordered, we only got refund but found the model elsewhere. Then guess what - loose wing and damage on the fuselage again. 
But the gentlemen in this shop had another one in one piece and here it is. 
As I was flying on this plane I‘m really happy now because I couldn’t have it substituted with another model during the refund process…
