Show your Latest 1:200 Purchase

Not into 200 scale but sometimes buy one out of curiosity for the mould.
BA Landor is amongst the greatest liveries ever, so this NG 757 had to be it.
What can I say, not happy with this and seriously disappointed with NG on this one. The wing dihedral is a mess and the engine nacelles/intake lips are overdimensioned (while the fan/intake diameter itself is ok) and can't keep up with the quality look of the rest of the model.

Just picked up Inflight200/WB's Singapore Airlines 777-200 (9V-SQA).

The brand new mould is unsurprisingly superb. Also present are Inflight's traditional jeweled landing lights and moulded ADF antennas. Particularly impressive are the engine fan blades, which accurately replicate those of the IRL Trent 800. Fan blades tend to be an afterthought in 200 scale, so props to Inflight.

777-200 9V-SQN by Inflight200/JFox. Love the deep, rich colors on this. It nicely complements my 50th Anniversary 9V-SQA.

757-200 9V-SGN by Inflight200/JFox. I'm no 757 fan, but this 2021 mould is almost perfect, and the SQ livery looks good on anything.

Model number 214, JC Wings 1:200 G-BOAE in BA’s Landor livery. Beautiful aircraft with a beautiful livery. I can’t resist a Concorde 😍

Nice, I also pre-ordered this 1:200 model. Might just need to get a 747 to go along with it 🤑 😩

I'm currently selling some models and was shooting pics of this year 2007 IF200 release that I was (am?) planning to sell. However, after many years in the box this one caught me and I somehow don't want to let her go. IF200 quite nicely nailed the colors on this model! Not sure what to do...

Gear looks better than on recent releases.

Not sure if you are asking for genuine advice, Alex. As model collectors, I'd say keep it. You like the colors, but If I have to guess probably not so much the mold. But then again, is there a GJ200 or JC200 version available? Likely to be available in the near future? Do you need the space for something else?

These are my latest 1:200 purchases for the past month.

Off topic here too.

Yours is a SkyWest E-175. I have the older GJ200 Shuttle America E-170 release. Hold it dearly to my heart. I bought it the day I passed my type-rating check-ride with Shuttle America. As luck would have it, it was the last reg. I flew with them a year later. U.S. Regional E-Jets don't really have a place in my 1:400 collection, but my 1:200 examples are very special.

Space is exactly the point. These 1/200s are simply too large for the extra detail they offer, so this one didn't see any light since I packed it away for my penultimate move more than a decade ago. Space is needed for a pile of plastic/resin kits I need to finish once I get the time to, the rest is reserved for 1/400.
This model just has this "keep me!" appeal. I think I'lk let Euros decide and keep fingers crossed for NG's mould.
