JC Singapore Airlines 747-200 (9V-SQO). Beautiful mould with tons of details, somewhat ruined by the finicky wingtip antennas. They came detached and bent way out of shape, so the repair job was quite tedious. Looks fine now.

JC Wings KAL 747-8i, HL7631. Excellent mould, crisp printing and solid build. Landing gear's nicely detailed and fits like a glove. Cockpit windows are a little off, but a lot less than I expected; it's barely noticeable most of the time. Overall it's a near-flawless replica of my favorite aircraft ever, so what's not to like?20221122_164113.jpg

Absolutely stunning! JC really hit the ball out of the park with this one. :)

My latest 1:200 purchase is this IF200 Alitalia A330-200 in the old livery. I got this model because of all the times I saw these at O'Hare.

It is an amazing model and I love the tilt on the landing gear; the only issue I have with it (and this is rather picky) is the tail being a little off.

In the second picture you can see the IF200 tail next to the NG Models one in 1:400. NG did it correctly while IF200's looks a little too vertical if you know what I meanIMG_20221122_090512382.jpgIMG_20221122_090626014.jpgIMG_20221122_091739772.jpgIMG_20221122_091925114.jpg

Yep, IF's 330 and 340 have incorrect vertical stabs. I passed on their Singapore A343 and KAL A333 because of this. Shame, because the rest of the mould is great.

Very cool! It is a shame about the v. stab, hopefully IF200 will fix it soon.

JC Wings Cathay A340-600, B-HQB. Cathay's old livery and the A346 are a match made in heaven. Mould is excellent per usual, and unlike Inflight200's A340, the vertical stabilizer is spot-on. Tons of details (even for 200 scale), especially on the underbelly. Landing gear is crisply moulded with metallic paint. Of course, it wouldn't be a JC without a minor printing error: the nose stripe is a tad too thick. 20221122_162048.jpg20221122_162404.jpg20221122_163108.jpg

Wow. That looks stunning. I was tempted to get the 1:400 PH version from earlier this year but I decided against it.

I started collecting 1:200 models during the summer. So far, I got 5 in my collection. I mainly focus on pre 70’s aircraft, such as DC-10s, L-1011s, and 747-100/200s. I’ll be going for a 727 or a DC-8 next.

New Model on the way! Compared to other listing of thus model for "180, $200, $350 and more, I think I can say 100 is quite a steal!
