Browsing Taobao this morning and noticed a new brand, with 3 upcoming Cathay releases. The prices are closer to NG (350-400 CNY, around 50USD), so I imagine they are using their moulds? Who knows…

Maybe made by JC but 're-branded' for China only release - to avoid CXs wrath?

We think the same idea.
However, it was first announced by retailers in Hong Kong, and then released on Rednote in China.
So it is not only sold in China, but also available in Hong Kong
