Rome FCO airport

A masterpiece of beauty, one of the most elegant airplanes ever: Icelandair B757-200W.
Just landed from Reykjavik on runway 16R and taxiing for the gate.
Boeing lost an immense occasion to compete with Airbus, because they did not develop a B757NG (or Improved or Enhanced), the best competitor for the genial A321LR/XLR.

Today spotting time at Rome FCO airport, trying to better understand the monster Nikon P1000 (so amazing and powerful like difficult to understand). The protagonist today has been Sichuan Airlines A350-900 "Panda livery": four spotters along runway 16R waiting for the arrival of this beauty, me Italian, two English and a German.

It was a wonderful day with a wonderful light, too much light to be honest, and i wasn't able to set the ISO: too much light, too high ISO (above 800 i imagine), so the pics are not so good as i wanted. Leo is a great spotter (not because he is here but because i know his pics very well), Michael is a great spotter and a spotter using to stay in another forum called SBA757: well, his pics of Miami airport are among the best photos i have ever seen! Go back to the point: 400 ISO are even too many for Rome sunlight on Spring and Summer seasons! I used about 800/1000 ISO, really crazy. But Nikon P1000 is so wonderful like difficult to use, and i never read the manual. Nikon D750 was much easier to use and much more intuitive for lazy spotters like me, that don't want to read about 400 pages of manual.
But...ITA Airways A350-900 landing on runway 16R with "Inspired by Alitalia" sticker. Nice beast indeed.
