Phoenix Models 1/400 June Release Hint 2025

Great indeed, hopefully there will finally be the Aeroflot livery with KLM sticker 😁

Any ETA for these? I guess it will be no earlier than July?

Il-62 my beloved, I was debating buying an second hand Aeroflot example off of eBay but it seems I can rest easy and wait for this.

How exactly will that rear wheel strut be modeled? Will it be an interactive piece like the Gemini mould or will it be a fixed wheel in the up position?

Edit: I have also just realized that Phoenix had done what GJ/JC was unwilling to, make the sans-suffix IL-62. I look forward to both variants with glee!

I’m curious about all the gear as well as the sample shows no landing gear… is this most likely just because it’s a sample mould or I’m wondering if we’d actually get completely interactive gear but I doubt that.

Great release for sure. The FedEx will have the new titles. Couldn’t find the difference between the China Northern MD-80s, anyone know if there’s a small variation between the two?

not just LTU but most classic European airlines don't sell that well in Europe (LTU, Lauda, Sabena, Alitalia...)

That's mainly the case because 1/400 models are harder to come by over here. In Germany only Herpa's range of 1/500 and 1/200 airplane models is easily available in model train shops and similar retailers while 1/400 can only be ordered through a few select (online) retailers. Make 1/400 more easily available and you could sell lots of models from all eras.
