Finally received my copies of NG's LH 748s, D-ABYT/YM (and YC)
As you know, the initital release of "retro" D-ABYT was sold out fast but also featured an overdose of errors. Way outside of what my "used to see LH" eyes could tolerate and so I had to cancel my order. After receiving info of a 2nd run I tried my luck and send feedback to NG.
To my biggest surprise, they did listen (to me or general I don't know) and corrected most of the stuff with this 2nd run.
So here's my copy of D-ABYT "V2".
The following corrections were done:
- silver mica added to belly/nacelles
- tail logo size and position
- blue color changed
- yellow color also is slightly lighter than on YM - but could be even more
- titles (matching the 1970's instead of 1990's)
- cockpit
Sadly they went all the way down the belly with the mica. But as it is a very subtle glazing mica, the issue barely catches the eye.
Super happy with this model! Well worth the long wait. They are still listening and caring, way to go NG!

The belly: a very subtle glazing mica. The real thing has the very lower belly grey (not mica) - barely vissible on this model and I wont flip mine around again.

Tail to tail with YM ("V2")
Me (and my RAL color fan) like how these colors turned out - as I said, the yellow on YT could have used a bit less red still.

The 2nd version of D-ABYM also received some corrections, namely
- tail logo size/position (thank you for listening NG!)
- cockpit
- silver leading edges added to stabs
So glad a great looking 747 with the name of my home joined my fleet
