NG Models January 2026 Hints

We need @Phantom to swoop in to the rescue!
Uhh, never took a closer look at KAL's 1970's colors, so I'd really have to guess as well. But I think NG's image (not the colors) is way off in exposure and saturation.
Judging colors by only some old scans is never a good idea - but often the only chance you have when it comes to classic subjects.
So if I'd really need to make up something in 2 minutes, my colors would be in this region:

But of course, actual paint again looks totally different to RGB.

If I'd need to make a model if this, I'd probably take a widly accepted existing model at hand as color reference. I have both GJ's 747SP and AC's DC-10 packed away somewhere. Never even compared these two, but would they match, this would be my color.

LH 100 789 & the Mixue pair were reinstated/added to the Jan release - not surprising now considering they went up for the pre-release exchange - presumably NG didn't expect them to be ready in time for Jan and thus ended up pulling them out of the release announcement?
I'm expecting smaller retailers to put these up for pre-orders along with the Feb release

I so don't like the 787, but I decided to add this one regardless to make the 100 fleet complete.
I take it 320, 350s and 748 are safe on NG's schedule as well? The real things (except the 35K of course) will meet the painters shortly.
(Hoping for AV400 to match NG's colors with their 380)

Any chance NG also does the new retro A321 as well this time? They ignored D-AIDV / RX previousely.

Apologies as I'm a little late with this video but it's time to look at NG's 24 January 2026 releases several of which now already have photos available for them. Check out my thoughts and rankings here:

I'd be way more concerned about the grey pylons.
I hear NG moved to a new factory?
Looking at this and the Condor I wonder whether they left all their good staff behind.
Those guys left long before the new factory, it was even worse last year.
