NG Models Boeing 747-100 - 747-400???

Has there been any updates on the NG Models 747-100 - 747-400 mold? I know we have seen the Lite versions in limited releases that need major improvements. I saw NG comment last summer that the 747 Mould was going to be fixed and ready for release by October of this past year but nothing has come up.

Yep, no news as far as I know. I remember when the B747-100 prototype model was released as a Lite model, and NG told everyone the standard version would be available in September of last year, and that didn't happen at least their B747-8 is good

Thats what I was referencing when I said "Ready for release"... Still waiting for the City of Everett in the non-lite version.

I have been dying for an NWA bowling shoe 747 in 1:400 Scale that isn't the old Gemini/JC or Big Bird mold... considering AC really messed up the most recent NWA 747 release with the paint scheme and the Pheonix being subpar. It's a shame we can't get more 747 classics on a new mold.

Concerning the 747-100, I'd say they only had the option to either start from scratch or cancel completely. Not sure which one they decided for but I still hope for the first, even though it's been very quiet around NG recently.

I lean on the side that they're potentially starting from scratch but who knows... regardless, if they decided to move forward with what they currently have, it would be a total shame as there is so much pent-up demand for a good mold.

This is supposed to be the first release of the new 747-400 mould
As we can all see - it was slated for a Nov 2024 release.
Hoping this means they're going for a completely new tooling

It would be a wise choice if they did start from scratch. however, communication can go a long way.
