Why does NG produce blank models? Is there big demand for them?

i guess its for people who want to bring attention to the mould itself rather than the livery, or maybe to some the blank model looks "clean"
prob very little demand for it but ng still sells it cus they dont have to put in effort to paint the livery on

They are not the only brand that makes blanks. JC Wings does it too.

Typically these are for people making their own custom models.

Because they can be attractive to custom makers. I missed the blank B767-200ER and now it costs an arm and a leg
