While a few Americans/Europeans may never be happy unless the entire release set is N-regs or Europe-regs, but most of us just want the bare minimum. All we would want to be ecstatic is just 1 quality USA and 1 quality Europe model per month to be happy. It makes 0 sense in any logical business aspect why NG doesn't give us anything anymore. A quality USA choice like a Frontier A320/21 or United 757-300 and a quality Europe choice like a KLM 747-400 would (at worst) sell equal to the China models, if not far better.I do, "tHeReS nO uSa."
Read my comment a few replies up as a pre-cursor to my reply now.Letās face it, 90% of the folks complaining about diversity donāt actually care about diversity. Theyāre angry because the releases they want are slowing down, and are using diversity as a guise to not sound biased. None of you gave a hoot 3 years ago when āother regionā collectors here were complaining⦠because NG was pumping out Ns by the dozen.
And before you remind me, I was guilty of this as well. Itās just funny how the tables have turned.
All of the complaining is honestly just trying to help NG from shooting themselves in the foot. We're trying to help them succeedRegardless if yāall want more ādiversityā, itās hard to ignore NGās wasted potential. Sure theyāre catering well to their home market, but they were doing well too when their releases were better for global representation in 2022. Iām still of the belief that there was an internal change within their management that resulted in the shift towards their home market, and not because of external circumstances, considering this has been going on for a while.
Iāll reiterate this too ā the reason why so many people are up in arms with NG is because of the quality of the hard product. Some donāt want to buy other brands (e.g. Gemini, Aeroclassics, etc). Itās definitely nitpicky in my books and I donāt abide by such policies, but at the same time recognizing what NG has been capable of doing and then them going away from it is really frustrating, so I share the sentiment most collectors, not just US ones, have with NG right now.
Indeed, we donāt ask much and we no longer even have the minimum with NG.While a few Americans/Europeans may never be happy unless the entire release set is N-regs or Europe-regs, but most of us just want the bare minimum. GeminiJets' release feedback proves that we want quality western models over quantity. GJ (a USA-based company) gives plenty of options for USA, Europe, and some Asia in each release set, but are still met with backlash when the models are multiple-time re-releases or just bad choices that no one cares for. Example being last year how GJ did sets with repetitive Delta 767s and 757s. NG is the only brand that refuses to give us quality choices outside their region for a majority of the time with no reasonable motive. The last set with the N-reg United 764 star alliance was a joke. It's been released by multiple others. Granted there are only 2 airline choices with the 767-400, they still chose the worst livery possible to do
