Thank you @Mikeymag !Hello fellow collectors!
I decided to create this informative thread with all the pending models as of today. The main purpose is to have an updated, easy-access list here in MAF with all the delayed models so that these are easy to trace. The delayed models have been grouped according to the month that each one of them were announced. I have also linked the artwork of each model for reference, so the picture should pop up in a new tab when clicking on the item number. Please note that all the details I used to put this together were taken from NG's official website.
I really hope this will be helpful for the community, especially for those who are awaiting a delayed model (or more than one).

Post #1 is now updated with a total of 7 delayed models from the November release set. Also, all the delayed ones from October will be arriving to retailers soon except one, as per NG's database.

Those Alaskas look great.
It's good to see a low backlog of delayed models. Hopefully it stays that way. I remember it was over 30 at one point earlier in the year.

NG has published their model availability from the December 2023 batch and only 16 models are expected to arrive to retailers next month. A total of 22 models have been delayed and will be ready in February, hopefully.Hello fellow collectors!

which is a bit disappointing. I'd rather wait than getting a rushed model. I really hope that they take their time to deliver a flawless product

I think the UA neo will arrive with the December batch. It shows as 'available' on their website.

With you on this mate. Of course the Chinese New Year is going to eat into their working schedules - but I'm okay with that as long as that time is being well spent on r&d and refinements........ I'd rather wait than getting a rushed model. I really hope that they take their time to deliver a flawless product

In my personal opinion, I do not think NG takes that long to deliver a delayed model like JC does, for example. NG usually delivers most of their delayed models the following month, so I wouldn't personally consider that a 'lottery' but maybe more like a 'potential delay' due to the amount of models being produced (1/200 production seems to be growing too). They have had some special cases like the Saudia Tristar but I believe those have only been a few. I still preorder to kind of 'secure' a model I really want and pay for it once my retailer receives it, so I guess that's a plus.

NG's 'delay' so to speak I'd say is on par with PH frankly, and as such it's a question of a month or two or three or so at the most, on average (before anyone points out rare events like the Saudia Tristar - but by now, I'd think most collectors are aware of their challenges with this mould - I'd say that it's compensated by the sheer excellence of the end product that'll get them more than 9/10 on average).
As I keep saying, they're easy targets for criticism because they've set a high standard for themselves, and do not oppose / object to / become aggressive / threaten anyone who rationally offers them constructive criticism (not disparaging them - that's not criticism - that's aggression - but even in the face of it, we've witnessed their composure and sense of respectfulness even in their 'take-downs') .

Yeah the delay on Phoenix and Gemini, certainly in the UK, is far worse than NG. NG have delayed a relatively small number of models but most are out the next month or the month after they are announced. Phoenix haven't even started to make the models they announce and they always are at least two months behind the announcement - more if you are in the UK. The October announcements have still not arrived here.
Seems to be a UK problem then, as Phoenix releases are pretty on time this side of the world (Asia/Pacific), certainly no worse than NG.
