NG CRP Requests

Yeah that translates to ā€œno, but maybe weā€™ll think about it.ā€
Yeah looking at the list of A350s approved by voting, only the Delta 100 years seems to have made it past pre-production. Meanwhile the Qatar, Virgin, British, Etihad, China Airlines, and arguably a normal Air France have been marinating in this stage since the start of voting.

To be fair theyā€™ve done a massive number of Qatar 350s (maybe not the K), and recently released an Air France. I donā€™t see any 350s being skipped over apart from the Korean.

NG seriously need to consider doing the Virgin Atlantic A330-300. I donā€™t think one has been released for about 5-6 years. I did request for G-VUFO and G-VNYC in the commission centre.
I would love to see these get approved someday, the Virgin livery looks stunning on the A330!

My only gripe with NGā€™s new releases (putting this here since it relates more to the CRP program) is the new livery Air Force One. Just to be clear, I have nothing against the plane itself. I am curious to know why this got approved and then released with only two votes to its name.

Itā€™s also interesting that this American A321neo Oneworld fantasy got approved too, despite only having five votes.

I can name so many examples of other wishes that have double digit votes (in fact thereā€™s one in the reply above me!) that it would take me all day to do so. Their logic with this program is inane sometimes because how does a model with just a handful of votes get the stamp and yet so many others that they can easily do are essentially ignored?

I get that they canā€™t make everyoneā€™s requests all at once, but their approval process seems more of their choice than by actual merit sometimes.

I agree completely. There are several MD-80s that have 10+ votes, but aren't even being considered for production yet.

My guess is: NG decided to release these models just because they wanted to, and the fact it was a requested model in the CRP program was pretty much a coincidence. Maybe they would release them even if no one had requested.

But I agree with you, it's really pathetic!!

I can see how that would be possible. If that was their plan, then I suggest they should put a disclaimer that they had the model in their plans already, since the stamp implies that the model has been approved by the number of votes it received.

Complete disgrace NG are taking the mick out of this now Iā€™ve said about theses two being approved earlier and the fact NG havenā€™t caught on to it now that it only has very few votes is just ridiculousā€¦ Shame..
