Not sure yet, I also got about three of these.What's the C-46 going to become? I have aa few my self, 1:200 and 1:400. Mine will become RANSA, not sure when...

Cockpit printing on the DC-10s isn't great, and it seems they are constantly taking the cheaper metallic paint option rather than the more expensive polished version. I've got the older version of the Eastern and it looks a lot better
Yes mostly the tail. The grey paint doesn't do it for meI guess you are talking about the tail? The body is bare metal. The bellies of the others are metallic too.

Yeah sorry I meant silver. They've been doing this for a while with their DC-10s now. Definitely not idealIt is silver paint. You can see other areas where grey paint is used. Bare metal does look better. I can't tell if it is polishing or electroplating. Thankfully, only a small element is painted, as the model's overall look is still nice, even though your version is definitely better.
