Never been a BIG fan of the A380, always thought that the extended version's proportions would be better suited for the double decker. Alas, we will never likely see that, but have to say that I have fallen in love with the series 8. Here is the behemoth, looking positively beastly yet surprisingly, elegant... leaving the apron and taxiing out to Runway 27 for her trip back to Singapore via London.

Now appeasing the wife with a trip on the real thing... May prove a bit harder than the taxiway lights.
