South African Orange Tail. Hardly been done. If I remember correctly I think it was Jet X that done it last ( could be wrong on manufacturer). But that’s it…. No one else did the orange tail and it was ICONIC even though people hated the regime of the time! Please Hx be the one to do it. I’ve already privately emailed them sometime back regarding this and they showed interest. A 742 or 743 is most welcome!

I support this! South African Airways have been quite neglected lately... their Jumbos were simply stunning.
Even the current livery have not been well represented. I think the only B744 released in 1:400 with the current livery is a Dragon Wings version!
Any livery would be a great great release by HX

Lion Air looks promising! Hx have done exceptionally good with their moulds. Every single one of them. I will be concentrating a lot on these guys going forward. The MD-11 is sound and I have two already. My three I’m really hoping to get are Varig blue tail ( first livery),LTU and Citybird Green. With others to follow of course.

Looks really wonderful, but I think the cockpit windows can be improved. The outer windows have an upward inclination which shouldn't be there. The top should be straight instead of inclined upwards.

I do really like the HX MD-11 tooling. They have done a much better job at the cockpit window size. The first few releases (Shanghai Cargo and China Airlines had too large of windows). The detailing on the engines is also top notch, better than Panda I would argue, especially the pylon detailing. I do like the landing gear and winglet shape more on the Panda tooling. This HX tooling is almost certainly a clone of the JC 200 version, with the upward angle of the winglet. But HX really has something special with the flaps down versions. I will be getting any MD-11 HX releases at this rate. There are so many awesome airlines to do, and Panda does not pump out enough releases to satiate my MD-11 cravings.

Frankly, at their price point, at least in Asia / CN - these are excellent - as I've mentioned before.
I'm especially taken by the FD option

Beautiful Chinese Jumbos they both look gorgeous!
I just hope to see HX venturing into other parts of the world. At least they released Lufthansa 747s. By the way, LH seems to be a favorite for them.

We already have the Saul Bass from JC Wings in multiple releases. What I’m hoping for is the Battleship or Rising Blue liveries. I’d also love any of the Northwest liveries, especially the Bowling Shoe.

My two MD-11’s that I’ve purchased are the China Eastern and China airlines ones. They are stunning. The detail and the most intricate detail I have to add,is beyond what any other model manufacturers have ever done! The Lufti looks fantastic imo. As for the 744’s well they’re mind blowing and think they are the best 744 to date!

I'd love to see a United Airlines Battleship Grey done on the HX 747-400 mould, assuming they can get the shade of grey right. A Northwest bowling shoe would be a welcome release, too.
