I wish the engines on the Wunala were chrome electroplated like they did with the Pan Am. It would be especially fitting on this model with the RB211’s
Yes that’s what I meant ! I agree with you for the most part, although I think if any model was to have chrome engines this should be the one.You mean the Nalanji, right? Wunala is the 747-400.
The electroplating on the Pan Ams was too strong, the engines were not that shiny chrome in real life. I think the result ended up too fantasy/toyish in my opinion![]()
This one is priced at JC level though(If you are considering buying JC VH-OJB but dislike the landing gear a too short, you might as well buy the HX instead. And the price is more cheaper)![]()

That isalso, I do think the main landing gears are still a bit too tall
They adjusted the nose gear a while back, starting with the Cathay 747-400F (I believe) and so forth. They used to be taller and made of plastic but now it’s metal. The main gear are still the same height as the original and also made of plastic.I don't think HX ever adjusted the gears. If they did, it was minimal and they still look too high. That's basically the only thing that bothers me in their 747s
