Model teaser from HX model, partially physical.

Don't worry, you'll definitely be able to buy it eventually. It's said that HX is going to produce every Pan Am's 747 aircraft. At that point, roughly four to five thousand Pan Am 747 models could flood the market.
It could be a long term plan; I’m also quite sure they are going to release every single AirChina 747 based on what I already know

For an "as delivered" PA 741 HX better do the stabs the way they did on their prototype livery.

From afar, and from this photo, the electroplated JT9D engines look a little bright, perhaps too bright even for a brand-new delivered Pan Am 747. Seems gimmicky, and knowing how grungy Pan Am's 747s often looked in service, might be a little of a distraction. A light coat of semi-matte clear coat (like Dragon Wings did decades ago on their "Metal Magic" models did) might help tone down the brightness, or even a light buff on a polishing wheel might give it that "brushed" metal look. But any innovation is welcome and I'm sure HX/Patriot/any sub-brands will keep working to improve the look of the 747s.
