I've now reviewed 4 MD-80s in 2025 and all have been on different moulds. I hadn't expected much from the Phoenix version but I'm happy to have been wrong as this is a delightful little model:

Love it. Wonderful bird! So good to see Phoenix bringing back this MD-80 mould. It's much better than the GJ version

I’m happy to see Phoenix entering the Mad Dog ring. Still hoping they release a Republic Herman example or Northwest Thermometer in the future.
