List of Reputable North American 1/400 Retailers

This thread is mainly a post for others to contribute so people who visit have a good list to check out for retailers. I'll start!

The main format should be the following, but it doesn't matter too much;
[Retailer], [Good Experience with Retailer], and optionally, [Notes]

- PandaFox Toys - Offers free shipping and tax within the US, I have received 5 models and counting from PandaFox. No notes.
- Squatchy's Diecast Hangar - "quick, reliable, have some great deals." - Starz10p Aviation
- Wildcat Diecast - "Wildcat is amazing, amazing communication, shipping usually occurs same day as purchase" - TinyAviation

I will also come back to edit this to contain more!

Questions are also accepted- here's my own starter question;

Is Wildcat Diecast reliable? Their website seems legitimate and I've heard a few people say good things, but I want to be overly certain before I place an order with them. Thank you!

Squatchy’s Diecast, got 12 models from them, they are quick, reliable, and have some great deals. They also have a physical location, which is also great!

Never see em’ mentioned, but Sprue Brothers from Missouri. Never any issue with them.

Little update on my own question, I found a post by Tiny Aviation claiming Wildcat is great. If anyone else has any experience with them, please let me know, and please feel free to drop more retailers!

Have had no problems with Squatchy’s online store. They are also fun to purchase from in-person at the collectible shows. Really hope to get a stop at their store in the Seattle area.

I've had an issue during checkout that's led me away from them, where attempting to change the card would duplicate the item in my cart, which would then be unable to be removed from the cart. Do you know if this has been fixed?

I’ve never had any issues with DAS relating to that, so I can only assume it’s been fixed

I made a couple of purchases from them that went smoothly, but customer service is nonexistent. I made the mistake of using them for one of my NG CRP rewards, and I have three models that just disappeared into the ether. I emailed them about a dozen times and got zero response from them. Buyer beware.

JetCollector is my go to now. Never had an issue and they are very quick to reply if you have questions.

From what I've heard, NG CRP aircraft tend to take a long time to arrive no matter the retailer, but I'm not very experienced with CRP.

Hey, I know you-- I've heard they are, I plan on running down soon. I haven't ordered from them just because of my proximity. It's impractical to pay for shipping when you can spend 2 hours of your day driving to Dayton and back.

I agree. I’ve shipped some models back but never ordered online from them. Too expensive and I only buy models there and not online.

I buy models online all the time-- typically from PandaFox where free shipping is a thing lol- just never from somewhere so close to home

This is true, but I made these orders last November, and got absolutely no response about them, despite them having confirmed according to NG's portal. Later rewards that I had sent to JetCollector have arrived with no issues.

I stopped using PandaFox as I had awful customer service with my CRP models... on average it took about 6 to 7 months and at least a dozen emails to get into contact with someone. Once I switched to Jet Collector the longest I have waited is 2 months and for the last round only had to wait a month.
