As much as I would like to keep myself out of this topic, it’s a little hard to believe that certain users here are not “paid” to advertise/ what we call dummy accounts… just look at the screenshot which I’ve found on Instagram clearly speaks everything….One may say that they did follow other manufacturers too but it’s more towards a deflecting of our attention I feel. Of course I’m looking forward to see the new moulds released from LJ as I was able to see how LJ have started their model business from scratch and the effort they’ve put in this business. I respect the decision of not announcing the models in advance due to manufacturer may copy the release afterwards but one thing we gotta know is that in the business world this is a common thing to occur. You guys really outdid yourselves. Impressive detective work. I’m genuinely flattered that sharing my honest thoughts about a company somehow turned into a conspiracy theory. For the record, I’m a Line Check Airman and ATPL holder for a major airline, not a paid spokesperson for anyone. I've been collecting models for more than 22 years! The fact that open, genuine feedback is being twisted like this is honestly more embarrassing for those making the claims than for me.

LegacyJets is a very welcome brand and I hope they will release interesting models, but bringing in new members such as Sn123 to hype things up just seems to be such an unnecessary move.

As we said earlier, Legacy Jets does not hire promoters, marketers, or anyone to speak on our behalf.

No hate, but it's sort of ironic how somebody just did some crazy detective work on a model airplane forum and found pretty good evidence of this claim being false. So again, I'm exited to see what is in this release, but it would've been better if you were ready to tell us, and not leaving a thread that has started a major controversy. It's hard to know the "amazing quality" that you've said these models will have when this company with "amazing quality" has made two models, and is now saying their new model has the quality of another companies mould.

I'll try to be done here, and if these models turn out well, I'll look into one!

Appreciate your message and the fair points you raised. However, the reason we haven’t announced the airline or company involved is actually quite simple. During our (debut) first two releases, a major diecast brand attempted to copy our concept and even stole elements of our original IP artwork and made an an announcement just 2 days after us. After that experience, we made the decision to keep upcoming projects confidential until they’re fully secured at our warehouse in New York and close to release.

With full respect to the community here, I hope you can understand why we’re being cautious. In fact, our initial plan was not to reveal any details until the models physically arrived at our warehouse. I personally convinced our team to share a small teaser to build excitement, but given the recent wave of speculation and misinformation, I’m not sure they’ll agree to do that again.

We genuinely appreciate the passion and engagement, but we’d prefer the focus to stay on the craftsmanship and quality of what we’re building and not on rumors or conspiracy theories.

As for the molds we use, we have our own brand new tooling that we have invested in and will also utilize the factories molds as well, which does include SQ/ HX. I spoke to Mr. Richard Stratton earlier today and if he is up to it, he has our permission to share what I shared with him.

the E170s are final approach exclusives…the others are just by LJ I believe they said. That leaves the 737/A320 in the air as to where they’d be from.

If it's got to be a N-registered -233 in colours of a US operator then I'm down to just one airframe unless I screwed the database query. A -232 sistership of this was released by Herpa many years ago.

Hope you guys are going to branch out into the DC-10 and A310 avenues. As they’ve literally only been covered mainly by one manufacturer. There’s another too but hardly done and mould was ****. Just a thought!

That isn't quite correct. Of the 158 A310s made 86 are by Aeroclassics so there are quite a few others on four different castings, although they aren't good I agree.

There are at least 4 ok DC-10s in 400 scale with the Apollo and Aeroclassics versions definitely being the best. Aeroclassics has made nearly half the 437 made.

There is a new DC-10 being made by a brand at the moment, but I question whether it will get used well.

New moulds aren't the issue really as much for me as getting them used properly. Aeroclassics may have some QC issues nowadays but the one thing you can say about them is they use their moulds well. Then you look at wonderful moulds like the Panda MD-11, Tu-134, NG Tu-154, MD-80, Tristars, Tu-204, JC Wings F100, DHC-8, One-Eleven - even the HX 747s. Both the number and selection of schemes is questionable.

I would be happy if it was LATAM widebody 767, A350 or 787 but not a narrowbody. That's just my opinion though.
