LegacyJets x FinalApproachCollectibles Future Release

With all due respect, look at the pricing of the GJ 737

, $66 for….just look at the quality… that’s why I buy from Legacy Jets, because their quality is unmatchable and you pay for what you get. Other companies you get ripped off and you also get a very low quality model. Just saying.

You’re getting kind of screwed if you buy directly from GJ themselves… I don’t know anyone that does because you will be paying $15 more per model vs through a licensed retailer.

I love how Gemini Jets keeps coming up in these discussions in a negative connotation 🤣

As much as they have their issues, picking out the MSRP price which is typically ~$10 more than the actual retail price to make a point, on a product that we haven’t even seen a single picture of yet, is amusing. I’m definitely a little more weary about LJ after reading this, so they need to “step their game up” (as one fellow collector once put it) and really make something that’s innovative and truly raising the bar. But seeing what we already have, that’s gonna be tough.
Gemini Jets qc and customer support is really amazing isn't it? Sorry but not sorry. I really hope.they turn things around fast.

Well it’s not about that, the problem is GJ got brought up (which shouldn’t’ve even happened to be honest because this thread has nothing to do with them) by the new guy who seemingly is a paid testimonial for LJ. I don’t disagree with the pricing, but you’ve got to look at the official retailers because that’s where the majority buys them from, not GJ’s own website.

I don’t want to sit here and sound like I’m defending GJ so I’ll leave it here and encourage the thread back towards Legacy Jets discussion.

Let’s clear a few things up.

We’re not paying anyone to represent Legacy Jets. Our entire team is just two people. The founder and the owner, who are both real-world aviation pilots. We’re a small company built on passion, attention to detail and quality. So the disclaimer is anyone on here commenting the good or bad about us is not connected to us whatsoever, and its all welcome with open arms.

Our focus has always been on quality, precision, and craftsmanship, not on competing with the big brands that mass-produce models and stockpile inventory. Every Legacy Jets release is made with care, from brand-new tooling and 250 pieces per release. Some of these molds are exclusively owned by Legacy Jets, while others make use of SQ/HX molds for select collaborations.

The ERJ175, for example, was developed by the factory specifically for our project — and while HX may use it later, it was created to bring our vision to life first.

At the end of the day, our goal is simple: to listen to the community and deliver what collectors truly want. Because what you want, is what we want.
Wishing you all the best and happy collecting

Ok, but when do we get to know what airlines you guys are doing on the E175?

Are they American regs? Can we please get any hints?
I can’t say at this time whether they’re American or not. What I can say is that we learned a valuable lesson earlier this year when another company tried to copy our EL AL release announcement. From now on, we’ll only be announcing new models once they’ve officially been shipped to the Legacy Jets warehouse.
The E175 announcement will happen shortly after we see the artwork. We hope you understand why it has to be this way

As much as I would like to keep myself out of this topic, it’s a little hard to believe that certain users here are not “paid” to advertise/ what we call dummy accounts… just look at the screenshot which I’ve found on Instagram clearly speaks everything….👀One may say that they did follow other manufacturers too but it’s more towards a deflecting of our attention I feel. Of course I’m looking forward to see the new moulds released from LJ as I was able to see how LJ have started their model business from scratch and the effort they’ve put in this business. I respect the decision of not announcing the models in advance due to manufacturer may copy the release afterwards but one thing we gotta know is that in the business world this is a common thing to occur. Let’s not spoil our Monday and a great start of the week, looking forward to the upcoming new moulds from LJ!IMG_2989.jpegIMG_2988.jpeg

You guys really outdid yourselves. Impressive detective work. I’m genuinely flattered that sharing my honest thoughts about a company somehow turned into a conspiracy theory. For the record, I’m a Line Check Airman and ATPL holder for a major airline, not a paid spokesperson for anyone. I've been collecting models for more than 22 years! The fact that open, genuine feedback is being twisted like this is honestly more embarrassing for those making the claims than for me.

5 pages of quite pointless discussion in this thread, to be honest.
Here are some points:

LegacyJets will release their models soon >>> OK, we're eagerly waiting.

Seems one of the models will be an Embraer E-Jet >>> That's really great! We're, once again, eagerly waiting.

"next-level precision, unmatched innovation'. 'the moment the bar gets raised" >>> Just silly marketing gimmicks. Show us the models already and let us judge it.

and that's it 😂

The rest is pure waste of reading time. Just pure speculation about a brand still needing to prove themselves in 1:400 scale.
LegacyJets is a very welcome brand and I hope they will release interesting models, but bringing in new members such as Sn123 to hype things up just seems to be such an unnecessary move.

You sound like a conspiracy theorist Leo! 😂

This has really gotten out of hand guys. My inbox has been blowing up nonstop, and that’s not what this community is about. We’re here to share updates, spark excitement, and engage with collectors who appreciate good models, not fuel endless conspiracy theories or drama. We never expected such behavior from an aviation community.
As we said earlier, Legacy Jets does not hire promoters, marketers, or anyone to speak on our behalf. We’re a small team focused on creating great models in limited quantities, not on managing rumors and conspiracies.
Please, let’s move forward and keep this community focused on what brought us all here which is our shared passion for aviation and diecast models. Thank you

No hate, but it's sort of ironic how somebody just did some crazy detective work on a model airplane forum and found pretty good evidence of this claim being false. So again, I'm exited to see what is in this release, but it would've been better if you were ready to tell us, and not leaving a thread that has started a major controversy. It's hard to know the "amazing quality" that you've said these models will have when this company with "amazing quality" has made two models, and is now saying their new model has the quality of another companies mould.

I'll try to be done here, and if these models turn out well, I'll look into one!

Appreciate your message and the fair points you raised. However, the reason we haven’t announced the airline or company involved is actually quite simple. During our (debut) first two releases, a major diecast brand attempted to copy our concept and even stole elements of our original IP artwork and made an an announcement just 2 days after us. After that experience, we made the decision to keep upcoming projects confidential until they’re fully secured at our warehouse in New York and close to release.

With full respect to the community here, I hope you can understand why we’re being cautious. In fact, our initial plan was not to reveal any details until the models physically arrived at our warehouse. I personally convinced our team to share a small teaser to build excitement, but given the recent wave of speculation and misinformation, I’m not sure they’ll agree to do that again.

We genuinely appreciate the passion and engagement, but we’d prefer the focus to stay on the craftsmanship and quality of what we’re building and not on rumors or conspiracy theories.

As for the molds we use, we have our own brand new tooling that we have invested in and will also utilize the factories molds as well, which does include SQ/ HX. I spoke to Mr. Richard Stretton earlier today and if he is up to it, he has our permission to share what I shared with him.
Thank you

Thank you for sharing these info with us. Keeping details in secrecy is something completely understandable and we really hope to see some great models being released soon

Reposting from our post on DA.C earlier today-

Airlines/ Company will be announced as we get closer to the arrival date to our warehouse.

Airbus A320-233 – 1:400 Scale

Interesting you provided the -233…that narrows things down at least a little bit! Here’s every -233 made…
