Legacy Jets 1:400 Scale Models

The reality is the models were far too far along for any changes to have been made. They are the same as they were before. Both perfectly middling 400 scale releases, but nothing special aside from the subject matter.
No it does seem like they adjusted the cockpit windows as requested and fixed the nose gear on the A320. Ill post some photos when my models arrives. Im hoping it will display nice

Kinda surpirised that they didn't use Panda as the OEM - it is them with the A32x/737 moulds that have been tried and tested, and have proven to be one of the best...
They should’ve gone that route — it would be more likely to match their promise they made that these things would be superior to every other brand. It’s not horrible, but it definitely isn’t the best out there either.

Interesting observation — this landing gear looks reminiscent of the JC mould. Given that and the awkward cockpit printing, without any hints to the branding you’d be forgiven for thinking it was JC!

You wouldn't be too wrong with this anyways. Quite a few of these SQ/HX moulds can't hide where they come from.

AFAIK, Panda wouldn't be an option given LJ's ties to DPM.
Someone I know said they heard the 1:200 747-400 SQ Wings is using is a repurposed JC mould. It’s definitely not a far-fetched assumption.

apparently dpm made moulds for all the known brands at some point so it makes sense what is being said. But based on the 747 of legacy, i can see differences between jc and sq

Yeah they obviously didn’t and couldn’t change anything in two weeks. These were past completion when they were first shown in a completed form.
They definitely redid the cockpit windows on the Avelo 737. I know this is an HX mould, and hopefully they sort that out down the line. That said, putting the cockpit and a few other details aside, I’m honestly still looking forward to these. As a collector, I like the subject, the livery, and the overall release, and I’m curious to see how they look once they’re in hand. Also, isnt there another 2 releases that havent been announced yet that are legacy jets own tooling? Curious..

I agree, considering this is the second Avelo release ever in 400 scale (the first being quite the mess, though I still bought it), but here it’s hard to justify the price tag when they bragged about how superior this product was gonna be. If that was the case I might’ve gave in. Though I just read 6 of their 8 737-700s will be gone so this might not even be something I’ll buy anyway.

As for the other two unannounced models I don’t think they’ve provided further updates. Since they’ve departed MAF and are only active on IG and Rednote it’s been a little more difficult to ascertain where they’re at with their products.

well I think it's not hard to find that nearly every single mould of HX is basically repurposed JC's, 747, MD-11, 737, A340. On clear thing that gives it away is the thickness of the wings, Panda and NG have mastered this but JC/GJ always have very very thick wings (barring new moulds like 777 and 787), especially at the spot close to the fuselage join, HX is no difference.

Just look at the wing join of the 747-400 in both 200 and 400 scale. It's identical between the JC and HX. I bet you can swap the wings around between the two.

If I receive models from all manufacturers than how can I favour any one of them :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: ? If you think me getting models from pretty much all the manufacturers that aren't jerks is a problem then you can just not read my material or you can point out where you think I've compromised my independence with inaccurate reviews.

I tend to agree that there is no perfect model, which if you actually read what I wrote you'd know. Seriously, chill out mate and watch the language too - I've edited your response this time but at least star out the swearing.
Well said sir
