Stunning model! I like the pic with the airline logos. Would be great to see HX releasing all these (those who did operate the model in real life)

Yes I hope so too! I forgot to add that I like how they’ve included the panel lines on the bare metal fuselage. They did the same on the Atlas 748. I stand to be corrected,but I don’t remember any other model manufacturer include this on their models. Just one of the extra details I love with Hx/YY
HX / YY, and SQ MD-11’s are insane. I have a 1:200 KLM MD-11 flaps down and it’s my favourite model in my collection.
Can someone tell me what the go is with YY models please? Didn't they change their name to HX models, so why still release in YY branding - or did they keep the YY name in some markets such as China?
And just on that, is the YY quality inferior to HX, given YY seems about 20-30% cheaper?

Only difference I can tell between YY and HX is that HX will include a metal stand, while YY does plastic stands. The quality seems to be the same in terms of the mould and printing
I wonder how they do it if they are say 20% cheaper? HX still needs to be paid to produce the model (assuming it’s not inferior quality), is it because YY is more of a direct sell model cutting out retailer margins? But then I see Future Wings selling them relatively cheaply and promoting them heavily..:

All QC is exactly the same as all HX and YY models are made by HX.

It's almost hard to believe this is 1/400 scale. The control surfaces look awesome!
