Isn't it produced by HX for YY Wings using the exact same mould? The cockpit printing angle does look better on this one; the nose still looks too blunt, as expected.
The nose shape still looks too blunt and way off from the real thing. The windshield window print is a little bit too large, but that's less an issue than the nose shape.Airbus A340-600 (F-WWCA)

To be honest, I think they're both equally bad.乛_乛Isn't it produced by HX for YY Wings using the exact same mould? The cockpit printing angle does look better on this one; the nose still looks too blunt, as expected.

The Airbus looks much better to me. Still inaccurate, but simply correcting the angle looks much better. To be honest, I think they're both equally bad.乛_乛
The reason why Airbus is better is because Cathay A346 started production earlier, which explains this situation.

About HX A320,you can refer to these photosReceived an email with an announcement of new HX models, including a number of A320's. Lufthansa 80th livery flaps up and flaps down versions.
I looked through the thread and couldn't see much other than a discussion about the width and a comment that the nose is JC like (possibly not a good thing?). Are there any pics? Is the flaps down version going to be worth it? more NG, AV or JC?

Still ongoing and is not expected to be completed until next month at the earliestFinally, what's the lead time? Where on the continuum do they lay
Any word on the Virgin Atlantic A340-600s?Received an email with an announcement of new HX models, including a number of A320's. Lufthansa 80th livery flaps up and flaps down versions.

They weren't in the list from MyHobbyHouseAny word on the Virgin Atlantic A340-600s?
I've got this A320 on order so I'll take a look but I think the suggestion it is the best A320 because of a 1mm width difference is a stretch! The engines from the front on that Xiamen look rubbish straight away.View attachment 79218View attachment 79229View attachment 79230View attachment 79231In my opinion it is the best A320 in the scale after I realise AC/PM/NG got the wrong wing. Also the nose for this mould is actually quite nice ( it would be better if they reduced the size of the windshield slightly and modify the shape of the sharklets)
1mm is equivalent to 0.4m in actual life that’s quite a lot of difference; however I agree with you on that engine, looks nice on side view but the lips are too thick and makes it looks weird from the frontI've got this A320 on order so I'll take a look but I think the suggestion it is the best A320 because of a 1mm width difference is a stretch! HX mould looks “wide” but it is actually the correct chord as it should be. Measured 1.515cm equivalent to 6.06m really close to 6.07m root chord of the real aircraftIts 40cm on a real aircraft measuring 3,757cm. I just don't see it as a major issue myself especially as it isn't an angle that you typically view the model from. I'd be more concerned about the form from the side, engines and undercarriage. I mean this A320 below has flaps extended and the HX version almost looks like this.
It is an issue which I have never heard raised in 16 years of collecting multiple A320 moulds, which illustrates how unimportant it is. But then again I'm not a fan of any of these 'it's too narrow by a mm' discussions that seem to have become common recently.
It looks like a perfectly decent A320 though, but I'll reserve judgement on whether I think it is better than the already excellent NG, Panda, Kylin variants.

In your photo, I see that the horizontal stabilizers are also of different widths : those of Xiamen Air are wider than those of One World.
