If the HX mold turns out to be good, that’s what I’m planning to do as well. I originally thought the C919 NG was going to release in February would be this one, but it ended up being the China Eastern version again — which has already been released countless times.

Thank God the wing root is finally fixed on the 748.

Thank God the wing root is finally fixed on the 748.

What's more important is the upperdeck as far as I can see in these pics. This finally looks like a 747. HX previous 748F was a rather sad sight.

The peak in the middle and sharp tapering off really hurts the overall look of the hump, some releases seem to have this more/less noticeable than others but it is still there regardless.

Certainly will be a welcome improvement

Yes and let’s see how they pull it off. Not many model makers can really get these engines right. The most accurate I’ve seen to date are AeroClassics version, as used on their DC-10’s.

Yes and let’s see how they pull it off. Not many model makers can really get these engines right. The most accurate I’ve seen to date are AeroClassics version, as used on their DC-10’s.

Assuming the HX moulding takes any reference/resemblance to JC 200 scale (like their MD-11), they should look somewhat similar to their 747 GE CF6-50s.

Yep they look pretty accurate to me!
