Gemini Jets September 2025 Releases

I am in the same boat as you... That Gemini Jets 767-400 is atrocious, and I passed on all of their releases except the Ron Allen to give it a try. I will be happy to replace it when the opportunity comes around.
I ended up getting the original BCRF livery for free from a challenge at AI 2025, and only got Vince Dooley because it looks relatively close enough to the normal livery to go with the rest of my panda fleet.

I got the Vince Dooley also and returned it as soon as I got it in hand it was so bad. :ROFLMAO:

China Northern MD-90 one of the major highlights as they continue to push out global Mad Dogs. Will definitely try to get that down the road but the United 777 is a big priority for me since I flew one (albeit a non-ER) over the summer.

Also more US regionals! Long overdue for another wave of those so expect that to remain consistent over the next several months.

Already preordered the United ERJ, hoping to pick up the American CRJ on release.

Yeah that I'll agree on. The only other "competition" in that space right now is the CRJ-200 for 3DD, and up to this point their catalogue is limited. I think it's important to recognize the demand for US regional jets, so us collectors are gonna take what we can get even if the moulds are subpar; see the Delta CRJ-900 2021 release.

What other choices do we have for the regionals though? They are in high demand and wanted by collectors.
I agree (and believe I said as much in the vid), but doesn't mean it should be ignored.

3DD have now released 13 CRJ-100/200s in less than a year while Gemini has made 5 in 5 years. I think waiting for 3DD to make the American Eagle is hardly unreasonable given their production rate and how weak the GJ version is. I want Tristars but it doesn't mean I went out and bought the awful Lockness mould Aeroclassics made.

Personally I've never liked waiting for the best product to come out; I know that I'm not the only one who does this. For the purposes of my collection, I can't justify waiting on say an American Eagle aircraft, since I make videos that typically require those models. I know it's hard to rank GJ's CRJ mould as a good one, but still the US collectors go crazy when one gets made. I think even the Air Wisconsin one sold out at a lot of places and that had some bad cockpit printing. Credit to 3DD, the catalogue they have so far is pretty good while being small in size, and I hope they will hit the big requests soon. The SkyWest house colors and Northwest Airlink from a couple months ago were super nice, and they said November would be a big CRJ month.

I'll use another example, the MD-80s. These are a little different since they're not high-priority for videos, rather just me wanting as many as possible in as little time as possible. I don't feel like waiting on NG to make them given their current usage of the mould. However these future releases give me hope that they will circle around to making some of them. GJ/JC has done well utilizing it and Phoenix coming out of the woodworks to make some lately has been fun to watch.

Completely agree. I bought the Gemini CRJ550 right away, instead of waiting for 3DD to maybe get around to it next year.
