I honestly think the old one is more straight forward.I personally think the new livery is much better, having less bells and whistles, and being more straightforward.
I agree dark blue nacelles would look better, might be some kinda paint approval issue I figure, as a child I always wondered how can these planes look so effeminate, we need real American colors, I prefer the straight flag like on a military aircraft, but the waving flag is more aesthetically pleasingI like the new scheme but not with white nacelles. They should be black like the belly.
This 737 MAX of the DHS have black engines and it looks much better.

That’s what i think. imo, it looks too “unofficial” to be the presidential livery. To me, the old livery looks very elegant and organized. To me this one would be sharp on a BBJ in General Aviation but not as a Presidential livery.
Totally agree… It carries the signature of one man more than a recognizable national symbol. That’s what i think. imo, it looks too “unofficial” to be the presidential livery. To me, the old livery looks very elegant and organized.
that man is in your head, the plane should be red white and blue, the flag should be featured, the light blue is too effeminate and dated. The -8 doesn't have the polished sections the 200 had so it doesn't work as well, its stuck in the 60'sTotally agree… It carries the signature of one man more than a recognizable national symbol.
That would be your opinion but a lot of people are unhappy with this new livery. The “That man is in your head” comment doesn’t make a lot of sense considering this livery very obviously takes inspiration from the cheat lines & flag of the Trump 757 livery and in many ways is a derivative of that.that man is in your head, the plane should be red white and blue, the flag should be featured, the light blue is too effeminate and dated.
