To be honest I had never paid much attention to the A340-600 before (it hasn't even got a mould review page) but following on from yesterday's review I thought I'd take a closer look and compare the 3 active moulds, so here we go:

NG adding to this list soon hopefully 😄

Another glaring issue with all Phoenix A340 & A330 moulds is the cockpit and nose section from the top view: it isn't tapered enough and gives the whole front section an awkward look. All the other A340 moulds have a much more accurate nose section from the top, the biggest issue with the NG / Panda / AeroClassics are the too-small cockpit window printing.

Ironically the Phoenix A340/330 nose looks excellent from the side aspect, but from the top it is completely wrong. The HX mould also suffers from its blunt nose; if they fixed that, it would be comparable to the JC / Panda / NG moulds.

Iberia (top): Gemini / JC Wings
Virgin Atlantic (Left): Aviation 400
Etihad (Bottom-Left): HX Models
SAS (Bottom-Right): Panda / NG Model
Etihad (Right): Phoenix Model

Compare them to the second picture of the real thing.
