Critical Aviator 1/400 collection

Amazing!!!

By the way... am I crazy or there's no Air France B747-400 in 1:400? 😳
I see a few classic Jumbos but no 400, and now I can't remember if it was ever released.
Actually I can faintly recall an old Gemini release maybe, but now I wonder if it was 1:400 or 1:500 (Starjets)
I can confirm starjet has it in 1:500 scale. But since starjet used scaled down moulds from Gemini, maybe there is a 1:400 version?_2226735.jpeg_3056760.jpeg

Wow.... you could make Charles de Gaulle easily!
You could make a Paris CDG airport model with all these aircrafts 😄
It would get a bit more challenging if eras are not to be mixed. I.e. can’t put Concorde and 742 next to A380.
I could if I mix eras. The problems with my AF fleet are that it is anachronistic (both in terms of aircraft types and liveries) and there is an imbalance between widebodies and narrowbodies. For widebodies, I think that if I do CDG, it would me more realistic if I did it in the 2010s. However my norrowbody fleet works better on current day operations.

There are AF 744s in 1/400 but I don't have one. My two 741s and my 742F are the only AF 747s I could get my hands on in 1/400. I do have an AF 744 in 1/200 by Skymarks and one in 1/500 by Hogan.
wow, my mind completely erased these models. Well, the Phoenix version can be permanently forgotten though :devilish::ROFLMAO:
I mean there are so many models one can forget some. I agree 100% on the Phoenix versions.
Hopefully NG releases the Air France 747-428
There are two on the wish centre, one in the 1990s livery and one in the 2009 Barcode livery (my wish). I would definitely love to see those two made !
That is very impressive and admire the dedication! Thanks for the effort of taking them out of the boxes!!
Thank you !

better place your money on HX...
As much as I would love HX to make AF 747s, they are as unlikely to make some as NG by themselves or GJ is to release or rerelease, so at least with NG we have the wish centre. And HX is making a lot of retailer exclusive models already so the best chance to have HX AF 747s I can see is someone commissioning HX to make them as I doubt HX would make them by themselves. SQ Wings did make some AF 744s in 1/200 but we are yet to see those same AF 744s in 1/400 on a HX mould. And besides, the NG 744 is not that inferior to the HX 744, in Richard’s mould comparison the HX led the NG by a single point. Sure HX might have updated the mould since Richard’s comparison but having an AF 744 on either the seamless JC mould, the NG mould or the HX mould would make the best AF 744 in 1/400, better than GJ’s AF 744 and far better than the Phoenix version. I don’t deny HX’s superiority when it comes to 744s but I don’t see a world where they would release AF 747s in 1/400 unless a company such as Socatec pays them to do so.

Air France HOP Embraer ERJ-190STD F-HBLR by GeminiJets.
It was first delivered to KLM Cityhopper on 12 November 2009 where it flew until October 2021. In January 2022, it was transferred to Air France HOP where it flew until February 2026. It is currently stored at Clermont Ferrand Auvergne Intl airport.
As you can see in the picture, one of the wheels is missing on the nose gear. That’s due to the fact that GJ’s quality control is not the best and I’m currently fairly unlucky when it comes to ERJs. Out of the three in my collection, only one came in perfect condition.
