Critical Aviator 1/400 collection

I think it's been said before but the lack of detailing on the engine is sad when everything else is so perfect
Anyone tried adding panel lines for thrust reversers before?

The cone at the back of the XWB can turn blue (very common on RR Trent series). If it is the case on the specific registration of a model (in real life), I will paint this part in this blue shade with a thin marker pen.IMG_1733.jpegIMG_1737.jpegIMG_1736.jpeg

IMHO, this MD-11 gives HX's a run for its money. Panda's printing is second to none, also.

I also have this in 1:500! Lovely livery! Wish more airline companies would do their retro liveries on wide bodies tho...

Air France Airbus A320-111 F-GFKQ by Panda.
F-GFKQ was first used by Airbus ( as F-WWDA) from 27 April 1987 to 8 February 1991 when it joined the Air France fleet. While in service with the French flag carrier, it was named ‘Ville de Berlin’ until March 2005. It was retired in July 2009 and broken up at Orly in October the same year.
F-GFKQ was the second A320 ever built (MSN002), meaning that it was built at a time when the A320 was far from being as common as it is today.

Air France Airbus A320-214 F-HEPC ‘Aurillac’ in the Crevette livery by NG.
F-HEPC was delivered to Air France on 28 April 2010. Between 29 November 2017 and 27 June 2019, it was transferred to the short-lived JOON before rejoining the Air France fleet. In February 2021, it was painted in the Crevette livery, named ‘Aurillac’ until April of the same year when the name was changed to ‘Basse-Terre’, which is the name it had when I saw it in April 2024. I have no idea why the name change occurred.

Apparently, they changed it’s name before transferring it to the Caribbean short haul routes between Guyana, Guadeloupe and Miami.
It had its name changed in 2021 and I saw it at ORY in 2024, so I don’t think that’s why they changed it. I doubt that AF choose to name their aircraft based on where they are flying. I say that because there is a 777-300ER named ‘Papeete’ despite that, to my knowledge AF never sent the -300ER to Tahiti and the only times we see the AF A350 flying in mainland France outside of CDG are 1) at TLS before delivery or 2) for special occasions like the Cannes film festival. My point is that most AF aircraft have names of places they have never flown to.
Beautiful aircraft! I hope we will get a F-GKXxx from NG
I hope so too, especially since I have flown on one.
