The fourth busiest in Italy with 11.500.000 pax per year and a plenty of airlines from all over the world (considering the three from USA, United, Delta and American Airlines, Asiana from South Korea, Air Transat and Air Canada from Canada, China Eastern from China). If until few years ago Venice, the most beautiful city of the planet in my opinion, was visited by tourists from all over the world mostly arriving by Cruise ships, in the last years "Marco Polo Airport" has become the main entrance to the city.
I used one of the left two gates on my Italy trip a few years ago. An ex US Airways (then just barely AA by that point) A330-300. A great trip with an awesome aircraft for me
About this airport, "Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam international Airport (Mauritius)" i know i did not make more than this so i am really happy for the result.
Thanks Leo, thanks so much.
I am trying to find the courage to restart to build airpots in my new house, with my wife that is Primary Doctor in the ER where i work and, of course, a Primary and guard dog at home...I have to find a way not to get paint and other colors on anything, otherwise she'll kick me out!
I was scrolling through the thread today and I am so amazed by your handywork :O The ground markings are so detailed and faithful! I can really see your love and passion for the hobby, especially for the 1:500 scale!!! I want to ask what do you use for the base and tarmac? Is it a piece of wood and you paint over it?
