ARD New Releases April 25

Just been on the ARD website to see 5 new releases of British Airways jets. 788/789/78X/A380 & A350 all due in April but from past experience more like June/July time.

787-8, -9, and A350 for me, I added them to Madb

All but the 78X for me. Collected the NG version couple of weeks ago so don’t need another one with the same reg.

The 380 was good timing because I was about to order the impending Phoenix release with the same reg but with the ARD 1 coming, I won’t bother now

I will probably get the PHX A380 just to save some money for future purchases

I’m glad I was still mulling over the phoenix 787-9 and A380s. What’s the chance a US retailer like waffle gets his hands on these?

Waffle maybe, but unlikely as ARD Exclusive, as a BA Collector I’ll be getting the Phoenix 789 to fleet build with this one aswell as the Phoenix A380 to save some money

He had the ARD exclusive Panda A320s last year and the box they came in was the ARD box to my surprise.

I already own the ARD's BA A380, 777-300 & A350-1000 all using the AV400 mould. Will be adding the 788 & 789 to the collection when available

I ordered the Phoenix 789 from AMS with the 2 763s they are releasing. Will get the 788/789/350/380 in about 2 months when closer to being released

How does the 787-8/9 mould compare to all the others? Is it worth trying to pick up a BA 787 with this batch or should I wait for a better opportunity on a different mould? I already have a BA 787 but would love to pick up another if its on a top tier mould.

I prefer the cockpit area and printing of the AV400 over the NG but the NG has better looking engines in my opinion. In the end, both are great 787s and I'd never replace one with the other if I already had a certain model.
