Tibet Airlines A319 "Nyingchi" Debuts Renewed Flight and First Release of Aircraft Model
1/400 #professionalprecisionmachin... #tibetairlinesculturalandcre... #tibetairlines

In May 2024, Tibet Airlines' "Nyingchi Peach Blossom" named aircraft held its naming ceremony and completed its maiden flight at Nyingchi Mainling Airport.

In August 2025, the "Nyingchi" aircraft will embark on a refreshed journey.

The fuselage features a gradient tone of spring cherry pink, resembling the vibrant sea of flowers in Bomi Peach Blossom Valley blending with the lush greenery of Lulang Forest Sea in the clouds. The design of the cartoon character is rich in Tibetan charm—featuring the auspicious swastika pattern on the collar of the Tibetan robe, the colorful Panchen apron around the waist, the gilded body of the Dranyen held in hand, and even the gradient silver glow of the strings, all bringing the plateau culture to life at high altitudes, with every detail conveying the unique cultural warmth of Nyingchi.

「Tibet Airlines Cultural and Creative」launches the Nyingchi aircraft 1:400 professional fine model:

Got it - it's an official launch product - looking forward!

Future Releases Virgin Atlantic A350-1000 x3
I’m not surprised, I kind of predicted this when AeroPolaris announced a Virgin A350. It’s been happening with the Singapore 744 special and a few others where the model is approved by voting, but they only release it whenever another manufacturer announces it. It was quite apparent that the Virgin 350 was popular when voting first started and it’s been annoying to wait until someone else harms their profits to finally do something. Kind of a scummy business move to me. 🤷

I don't see how it is scummy. If the model is approved by voting already then it is going to be released and them now saying it is a future release is no different really to it being approved on the wishlist. You could argue that it is 'scummy' other brands stealing from the wishlist and NG are just being forced to act to protect the sales of a model they said they will make. It is certainly another one of the issues with the wishlist in general however.

A Virgin A350-1000 may well be popular (I'd argue not more than hundreds of other models) but frankly it isn't a model that I think is especially necessary especially as they already made it in September 2022 (and there are 4 Phoenix, 1 GJ and 2 AV400 versions existing already)!

In this scenario we now have 4 of the things when arguably we didn't need any of them, but whether the Aero Polaris version or the NG is better is a complete toss up frankly.

In total agreement.
Couldn't have stated it better.

You bring up an interesting point with the mention of brands taking inspiration from NG's wishlist- I hadn't considered that. Honestly though if a brand wants to "borrow" a wish, I can't see myself having problems with it. It's nice to have choice (to an extent, market saturation is an issue) and it could push particular wishes to the front of the line that collectors have been waiting for.

As for the quantity of VS Airbuses, I think people just like collecting the specific registrations due to the a/c names. I suppose it is just like purchasing different Frontier tails, just on a smaller level.

These NG Virgin 35Ks are as hard as diamonds to find these days. PH version 350 is a joke sorry and GJ is too low. But it really is hard to hold laugh this time I asked NG on three different occasions when next Virgin 35k will be out and they all replied "in the pipeline" but it just never showed up. Well I guess all we need is another release on a good mould... Positive competition IMO in the end of the day, although this is almost cinema, much like Premier League

Agree
And these will sell out too
Just like the CX A350s
Who knew they're so much in demand, regardless of who or how many seem to be made?!
Some airline aircraft combos just demand that quantity of releases

This has been happening in this hobby for years and years. And I doubt it will ever change.

I mostly agree with you that they were due to be made at some point in time. It’s just that from what I remember one of the Virgin 350s were voting quiet fast and they sat on it for a while which to me made no sense.
