ALL NG 'Future' 1:400 Release Announcements (Rednote / Instagram / website / etc)

Or are they just doing exactly what they said they would do all along - releasing models from the wish centre which is exactly what it is for. That Hawaiian A321 is a wish that is at least 9 months old just like @planes_on_a_shelf said. They are listening, but not to 'feedback', they are listening to the wishes in the wish centre that was setup exactly for that purpose.
They certainly haven’t been doing this routine before — posting them online as future releases once they’re approved. Something tells me that they wanted to start posting them on social media since they keep getting backlash for the way they’ve handled the system. Where’s all the MD-80s they’ve approved as well? I saw they have Continental Globe, Northwest Bowling Shoe, and other Mad Dogs with the stamp, at least one of them should’ve been posted by now…

Pre-ordered the Phoenix one. For me it’s mostly come first serve first. As you never know who will bring out a model. Few years ago I’ve sometimes waited for a brand to bring out a specific model to just get disappointed that they didn’t make the model and left empty handed. Not anymore. Phoenix announced it, pre-ordered it. If they only announced the A330 Stitch one.
My philosophy as well. First to market gets my $s.

THIS….of course they can not do EVERYTHING (artwork, production, etc) in the span of a month or two after being approved. They may have a “backlog” for sure but they’re honestly making great timing with what’s been put out so far. Getting anywhere from 2-4 crp models per month on average, on top of the standard stuff per month, is perfectly acceptable for me. they also can’t be doing all 100+ “approved” models all at once either…I’m sure some months will have more releases than others too. I’ve never understood the general seething hate they get over that. I’d rather wait 8 months for a crp models per month and have it done “right” than for them to throw together a half-assed hunk of metal with shoddy work.

I’ll stand corrected if crp releases dwindle at any point or if the backlog truly does get out of hand (getting close on the current trajectory for sure lol). maybe @YesterAirlines can do one of his great graphs in the next few months (for more data, or now too if relevant) on the number of crp models per month since the program was launched?

They've released 24 wishlist models already from a wish centre that started in October and didn't have any approved models until at least November
While their website only shows 24 - the real number can be said to be higher - just that, curiously - not all are shown as 'released' - I guess because they didn't get the 'approved' stamp - confusing but yeah?

Two cases in point are the Aeromexico 737s recently released. There are others too - these I think recall offhand

One big example is the American MD-80 black nose — not approved yet released anyway. They definitely need a team managing the immense wishlist since there’s 1200+ requests on there.
